Multiple Domain Feature

MULTIPLE DOMAIN FEATURE (MDF) provides the ability to define and concurrently operate logically separate processing environments or domains using the resources of a single computer system. A domain provides the architectural requirements for a system control program to execute in an environment consisting of real physical processors, storage and devices. Current versions of UTS, MVS, and VM system control programs can run within an MDF domain with minimal performance implications.
