We’ve developed resources to make it easy for your organisation to get involved. Share these with your staff, customers, friends and family and help us promote easy-to-follow cyber security advice available at cyber.gov.au.

The campaign sees the retirement of Stay Smart Online and Stay Smart Online Week and replaces it with a year-round program of cyber security themes throughout 2021. Our campaign will educate Australians about cyber threats and promote cyber.gov.au as the one-stop shop for individuals, businesses and organisations to arm themselves with cyber security information and advice.

Existing social media and digital platforms, including the Stay Smart Online Facebook page, have been rebranded to Australian Cyber Security Centre and will continue to be a key way of informing Australians about ACSC’s services, resources and tools.

Act now, stay secure

The new campaign warns that cybercriminals never switch off and urges Australians to ‘act now, stay secure’ by accessing the easy-to-follow cyber security advice on cyber.gov.au

Throughout the year, we will focus on a different cyber security theme with tailored content. This month’s theme is ransomware:

  • Ransomware is a type of malicious software that makes your computer or its files unusable unless you pay a fee.
  • Anyone can be the victim of a ransomware attack on devices at any time.
