Our emanation security program sets out the requirements for government and organisations to be formally recognised to conduct emanation security practices to national standards.
All electronic information systems emit electromagnetic radiation. In some cases this can reveal information and pose a security risk. Emanation security prevents people discovering information by collecting and analysing this radiation.
What our Emanation security program provides
How to participate in the emanation security program
If you want to participate in the program, read the Australian Emanation Security Program Manual. This provides the application process for joining the program and the accreditation standards for us to formally recognise you. It also sets out your obligations once registered in the program.
