AI is transforming the cyber security landscape by creating new opportunities to strengthen defences while also enabling cyber threats. Australian organisations must embrace AI to improve resilience while preparing to counter malicious uses of AI by adversaries.
The question is no longer whether an organisation will face a cyber incident, but how prepared it is to respond. Building cyber resilience means maintaining critical operations and recovering quickly when incidents occur.
Timely reporting of incidents to ASD’s ACSC means we can provide specialist technical advice. Reporting improves situational awareness and protects other organisations from similar threats.
Cyber resilience is a shared responsibility. Strong partnerships between government, industry and the community are essential to Australia’s cyber security. In FY2025–26, ASD’s ACSC’s Cyber Security Partnership Program grew to over 149,500 partners. By participating in ASD’s ACSC’s partnership programs, organisations can access timely threat intelligence, share information, and strengthen collective resilience.
