In partnership with our international cyber security partners, the “Shifting the Balance of Cybersecurity Risk: Secure-By-Design and Default Principles” Guide has been released.

This joint Cybersecurity Guide recommends that Software manufacturers adopt secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices, and urges customer organisations hold their manufacturers and suppliers to these standards.

As Abigail Bradshaw, Head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre, states, “Cyber security cannot be an afterthought. Consumers deserve products that are secure from the outset.”

It’s vital for government, industry and the public to work together to achieve a future where technology is safe, secure and resilient by design and default.
