Product Description:

RackTop SPEAR v1.0 is a software-based Full Drive Encryption (FDE) solution built on the Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) version 2 specification. The TOE is a software FDE product that leverages RHEL 9.4 running on dedicated hardware. The TOE implements both the Authorization Acquisition (AA) function and the Encryption Engine (EE) function, as defined in the Full Disk Encryption collaborative Protection Profiles. The bootloader integration with the AA component ensures that the operating system cannot start until valid credentials are successfully presented and verified. When deployed in its intended configuration, the TOE protects both the operating system drive and all data drives, requiring successful unlocking of each protected volume before the OS completes its boot process and any protected data becomes accessible.
