The Target of Evaluation (TOE) is a distributed platform consisting of Rubrik Security Cloud – Private (SC-P) and Rubrik Cloud Data Management (CDM). CDM is a software platform that distributes data, metadata, and task management across a cluster, and SC-P permits administration and management of multiple Rubrik CDM clusters through a single web UI.

A Rubrik CDM cluster is a collection of objects that include sources from where data is getting backed up, targets where backups are stored, and security principals, or the users and service accounts that manages the cluster.
